- The NordicTrack C 9.5 Elliptical Trainer does require assembly but a degree in engineering is not necessary. The C95 comes with an easy to read instruction manual which will take you through the assembly process one step at a time. Allow yourself a couple of hours for assembly.

Front Drive Design
For people with lower back problems the NordicTrack C 9.5 Elliptical Trainer may prove to be uncomfortable as its design requires forward leaning movement. The overall design is good and should be suitable for the vast majority of people but the front drive aspect means it may not be ideal for everyone especially those with lower back issues.
No Wireless Heart Rate Monitor
With its impressive list of high-tech features, it is disappointing that the NordicTrack C 9.5 Elliptical Trainer doesn’t come with a wireless heart rate monitor. There are the dual grip sensors on the handlebars so you can still monitor your heart rate that way. However, this is not as convenient as a chest strap wireless monitor that many elliptical trainers have included as one of their features.
