Computer Programs
The NordicTrack E 7.0 Z Elliptical Trainer has 20 programmed workouts on its computer console, which is above average at this price point. But what puts it over the top is that it also has iFit® compatibility. You will need to make a small investment and subscribe to iFit® in order to take advantage of this, but your workouts then become practically endless. iFit® gives you access to Google MapsTM where you can literally train anywhere in the world. The program provides you street views from around the world and automatically adjusts the incline and decline to simulate the actual terrain. You also get custom-built workouts are provided by top fitness trainers like Jillian Michaels, which also automatically adjust your workout intensity.
Stride
At this price point, you are typically looking at elliptical machines with an 18” stride. An 18” stride doesn’t accommodate a lot of the taller users. The E 7.0 Z Elliptical Trainer, however, has an adjustable 20” stride. This will provide a smooth and more natural movement for just about everyone. To add some intensity to your workout, NordicTrack also equips the E7.0 Z Elliptical Trainer with the ability to incline this motion up to 20 degrees. This will ensure a custom workout fit for your preferred intensity.

Comfort Features
We’ll tell you up front, that we’re really reaching for negatives to the NordicTrack E 7.0 Z Elliptical Trainer. So, with that being said, we’ll point out that the E 7.0 Z Elliptical Trainer doesn’t have a fan. This may sound minor, but it’s definitely a nice feature to have. Another nice feature would be the ability to use a hands-free, chest strap heart monitor, which is also not provided. We’ll add that at this price range, it may be difficult to find on any elliptical. So, enough with our nit-picking.
