Let’s Get Started:
Stamina has provided a great piece of exercise equipment in the Airgometer Stationary Exercise Bike at a very good price. This bike has a lot of the same components and quality that you’ll find in air resistance exercise bikes costing twice as much. This stationary bicycle has a strong, heavy-duty steel frame and steel housing around the fan. The fan itself provides excellent resistance based on how hard you are pedaling and is also very quiet. The dual action handlebars ensure you’re getting a full body workout.
Stamina provides a large, cushioned seat that can be adjusted to fit the height of just about anyone. There are also oversized, textured pedals for good traction while pedaling and also stationary footrests if you want to rest the lower body and just work out the upper body. Finally, the Airgometer Exercise Bike has a nice easy-to-read LCD monitor that tracks the statistics that are important for measuring your performance.

What We Love About the Stamina Airgometer Upright Exercise Bike:
Upper Body Workout
One of the nicest features of the Stamina Airgometer Exercise Bike is the dual action handlebars. This provides resistance when you’re pushing and when you’re pulling, which provides an excellent upper body workout. Stamina also provides footrests for the user so they can stop pedaling and just focus on that upper body workout. Just be aware that these handlebars are not lockable so they will continue to move even if your hands are not on them.
What Isn’t So Great:
The one flaw we have repeatedly heard from users has to do with the pedals on the Stamina Airgometer Exercise Bike. A lot of users claim that the pedals will repeatedly comes loose and require constant tightening. So much so, that in some cases they become stripped and it damages the machine. Another minor flaw with the pedals is that there is no strap to secure your feet. It’s a minor detail but can provide more safety and security when you’re pedaling hard.
Final Word on the Stamina Airgometer Exercise Bike:
At around $350, the Stamina Airgometer Exercise Bike is nicely priced. This is a solid exercise machine in its own price bracket. You can pay $200 more for the Schwinn AD6 Airdyne, that is very similar, or $200 for a lower quality, budget-friendly machine, but this bike will give you everything you need. It has great resistance, fits nearly everyone comfortably, and provides an excellent upper and lower body workout. This is definitely a smart buy.
