Bladez Jet GS Indoor Cycle

Overview:

The Bladez Fitness Jet GS indoor bike caters to entry level cyclists that need a relatively simple and easy to handle cycle to initiate them to a routine workout. Its oversized steel frame is specifically designed for extra safety, stability, and reliability, while its thumb controlled adjustable resistance allows you to choose at any moment the desired workout intensity you’re aiming for.

Though it could be looked at as a simple indoor bike, the Jet GS’s design does a nice job of replicating outdoors racing conditions, ideally preparing you for a real racing experience. Its user-friendly structure offers a smooth ride, while its compact footprint helps the bike to fit in any home space you might want to place it.

This indoor bike can get you going for a decent price. On the surface the  Bladez Fitness Jet GS includes everything you’d want in a great indoor cycle.  That said, there are some issues which we’ll get into below, but for some users they might not be total deal breakers.

NOTE:  Currently the Bladez Fitness Jet GS is OUT OF STOCK (or possibly discontinued).  The Blaze Fusion GS is also worth a look as a replacement for this model.

What We Love(d) About the Bladez Fitness Jet GS Indoor BikeBladez Fitness Jetbike GS Indoor Bike

Overall

The Bladez Fitness Jet GS comes in at a nice price for what you’re getting.  It has a solid, rugged, steel frame that provides some good stability.  The flywheel is on the heavier side at 40 lbs.  This helps create a lot of stability especially during intense workouts.  It has a quiet belt drive with resistance levers on the handles. It comes mostly assembled and includes the tools you need to finish the job.  It doesn’t take up a whole lot of room in your workout space.

Resistance Adjustments on the Handles

This is a nice feature and one that a lot of bikes don’t have.  There are 10 resistance levels that you can flip from the handlebars, somewhat like switching gears on a real road bike.

What Isn’t So Great

The Bladez Fitness Jet GS isn’t the best bike on the market, but it’s decent for its price range.  If you’re a more experienced cyclist who prefers a more advanced and higher quality bike, picking up a Spinner Fit Spin Bike might make you happier in the long run. While the Bladez Fitness Jet GS can 100% satisfy the needs of a beginner cyclist, over time, small things like an uncomfortable seat, issues with the computer console, manual adjustments that need to be made, and some lackluster parts will reduce your enthusiasm to work out.

Final Word on the Bladez Fitness Jet GS Indoor Bike

An decent indoor cycle for the price you are paying.  While looking stylish and being relatively affordable, the Bladez Jet GS Indoor Bike lacks some of the construction quality of its rivals. It’s a fitness bike capable of performing smoothly and quite intensely for the beginner cyclist or someone who isn’t going to use it every day. Leveling-up to a slightly more expensive bike might make sense for some riders.
