What We Love About the Spinner Sprint:
Quality
The Spinner Sprint is another well-built indoor cycle from the Spinner® brand. The cycle is as solid as they come. The steel frame and 43 lb flywheel ensure the Spinner Sprint isn’t going anywhere during your most intense workouts. The seat adjusts vertically and horizontally and the handlebars are angled at 5° for an optimal ergonomic body position. Other design considerations like the leather brake pad, oval tube design to reduce wobble and two-piece fender design channel sweat away from the flywheel are the little things that show the Spinner® brand cares about what they are putting on the market.
Q-Factor
If you’re new to cycling you may not know what Q-factor is. The Q-factor is the distance between the pedal attachment points on the crank arms. The narrower the Q-factor, the more it puts you into a neutral body position and creates a more comfortable riding experience. The Spinner® Sprint has an extremely low Q-factor at 155 mm. You’ll be lucky to find another cycle with a Q-factor this small. This means when you’re exercising on the Spinner Sprint®, your hip, leg, knee and ankle pain will be minimal. You’ll be able to exercise more frequently and extend those workouts comfortably.
Other Considerations:
The Spinner® Sprint is reasonably considering the quality of the bike. This bike is going to last forever and for that reason alone it is worth its nearly $1,000 retail price, even though you kind find the Spinner® Sprint for a couple hundred dollars cheaper online. Now, that being said, for $800-$1,000, I would expect my indoor cycle to comes with some extra features like programmed workouts, a computer, MP3 or iPod® compatibility; anything to create an enjoyable workout. You won’t find any of those things on the Spinner Sprint.
Final Word on the Spinner Sprint Spin Bike:
The Spinner brand continues to make quality indoor cycles with the Sprint Spin Bike. Trust us; there will be no buyer’s remorse in regard to the quality of your purchase with the Sprint. The key word here is “commercial grade for the home”. On the other hand, there are no workout programs, no media connection options, and no computer. So before you make this purchase, you need to carefully consider what it is you really want in an indoor cycle. If you ready to rock a Spin workout with some videos online or cranking some motivating music, you’ll be good to go.
