The creators of the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station really stepped outside the box with this one. This patent-pending design finally provides the user with what is missing from every doorway chin-up/pull-up bar…clearance and freedom! The design of the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station raises you an additional 8” above the height of normal bars. It raises you well over the doorframe and there is still no mounting hardware required. No need to drill holes or damage the doorframe. At this height, the user doesn’t need to crouch, pull up their knees, or worry about striking their head on the doorframe.
Even with the innovative design, you’re not losing any of the exercise capability with the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station. It’s got narrow, neutral and wide grip positions for chin-up and pull-ups. It has parallel bars for hammer grip pull-ups. You can also use the Elevated Chin Up Station at the base of the doorframe to assist with sit-ups and crunches or take it completely off of the doorframe for propped push-ups and triceps dips.

Assembly and Installation:
Assembly of the GoFit Chin Up Station should be easy and take around 15 minutes. However, some reviewers claimed that upon assembly some pieces didn’t fit together, holes weren’t drilled out correctly or some bolts were missing or not the correct size. For this reason, assembly for some buyer’s took an hour or even longer.

What We Love About the GoFit Elevated Chip Up Station
Most of the great things about this GoFit pull up / chin up station product were outlined above. You get a large number of exercises with the chin up station, especially with its parallel grip option. However, the thing we love most is that GoFit came up with an innovative, out-of-the-box design with this multi-bar. The best thing the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station accomplishes is giving the user the clearance that they are missing in normal doorway chin-up/pull-up stations. For most people, there’s no need to curl up the legs with this device when starting out. It raises you an additional 8” from the normal bar height and puts you above the doorway.
What Isn’t So Great
It’s not a perfect product and some users report that red paint may rub off onto your doorframe. Second, a lot of the users commented that when they went to assembly the station, it was missing bolts or the incorrect bolts were packed. If you find that the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station you ordered has any of these quality problems, be sure to return it for a new one or refund. Note that these quality issues are not universal and your GoFit station will likely be in fine shape.
Final Word on the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station
For it’s price range, the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station is a great purchase. The design alone, which really does give you the clearance and freedom to do some intense workouts, is reason enough to give it a shot. However, even though the design on the GoFit Elevated Chin Up Station is great, it seems that GoFit has some bugs to work out with the. Overall, it’s one of those products that’s worth taking a chance on for its innovative design.
