What We Love About the SOLE Fitness LCR Recumbent Bike:Sole LRC recumbent bike

SOLE Fitness is known for making commercial grade exercise equipped and that’s exactly what you’re getting with the SOLE Fitness LRC Recumbent Bike. It comes with some nice features like a huge number of resistance levels, two different heart rate monitoring options and some great ergonomic features that make this a very comfortable recumbent bike.  A really cool feature is the power source that is self-generated so the recumbent bike does not require an external power from an outlet.  Safe a few bucks on your elecric bill! Beyond that here are a few more specifics we like:

Durability

The SOLE Fitness LCR Light Commercial Recumbent Bike is quality at its finest. This is the same model that SOLE Fitness designs for public gyms and the hotel industry. The same type of recumbent bike that takes the abuse from multiple users who don’t care how rough they are on a piece of exercise equipment. This recumbent bike is going to hold up. It made with a heavy-duty steel tubing frame and is wrapped in aluminum. Its 30 lb flywheel and overall weight of 157 lbs is going to keep this bike stationary during your most intense workouts. SOLE Fitness backs up these claims by providing a lifetime frame warranty on the LCR Recumbent Bike.

Resistance

The SOLE Fitness LCR Bike has 40 levels of resistance. You heard us right…40 levels. Most good recumbent bikes come with around 20 resistance levels, but SOLE Fitness is doubling that up. Having this many resistance options ensures you’re going to get an intense workout no matter what your skill level is. You may think that you won’t use half of these levels because the intensity will be wearing on your knees and feet, but that’s not the case. SOLE Fitness also equips the LCR Bike with pedals with a 2° cant that relieves the stress on your joints. You’ll be able to smoothly power through the resistance levels for a great exercise experience.

What Isn’t So Great:

Assembly

It’s not a big issue, but again, assembly can be time consuming. SOLE Fitness provides a very nice fully illustrated assembly manual. They even provide assembly videos from their website. So instructions are not the issue. It just took a lot of time due to the numerous pieces and parts. On average we’d say you’ll need to set aside at least two hours to get this machine together. That being said we would not recommend that you dish out the extra couple hundred dollars to have your LCR Bike assembled in house. We’d just say to take the time and get it done. You only need to worry about assembly once and you’ll get to know the ins and outs of your machine, which is a plus

Final Word on the SOLE Fitness LCR Light Commercial Recumbent Bike:

The SOLE Fitness LCR Recumbent Bike is a top of the line, fitness club-level machine made for the home. You’ll never have to worry about the quality of this bike or breaking it during an intense workout, especially with the lifetime frame warranty. Comfort plus effectiveness is the name of the game and the SOLE Fitness LCR Light Commercial Recumbent Bike delivers.  Not a lot of recumbent bikes match the quality here.  Highly recommended.
