What We Love About the Stamina 1201 Orbital Rower:

Quality

Though the Stamina 1201 Orbital Rower is small and lightweight, it is a well built machine. It has a strong steel tube frame and extruded aluminum rail that will stand up to some serious abuse. Stamina also equips the rowing machine with a large padded seat that slides easily on the rail and large foot plates with straps to keep you securely in position. Stamina is known in the fitness industry for providing quality products for the cost conscious buyer. The 1201 Orbital Rower is no exception. Even though this is an entry-level rowing machine, Stamina still backs their product with a one year frame warranty and a three month parts warranty.

What Isn’t So Great:

Resistance

With only five resistance settings, we’d have to say that is the biggest drawback of the Stamina 1201 Orbital Rower. With so few intensity options, you may not be able to get the perfect feel while rowing. In fact, some users don’t think the resistance is hard enough at all. This may be suitable for someone looking to get a little more active, but if you’re looking for the seat busting, fat burning workout, you may want to look for a machine with a few more resistance levels. Final Word on the Stamina 1201 Orbital Rower:

Like most Stamina products, the 1201 Orbital Rower is well built, has good components and well worth its small price tag. This rowing machine has a nice steel and aluminum construction, large seat and foot plates and can be stored on end for space saving storage. The one thing that we wish would have provided on this rower is a few more resistance setting so that we could always get that good burn while exercising.
