What We Love About the Stamina 1333 Precision Rowing Machine:

Rowing Experience

The design of the Stamina 1333 Precision Rower with the shock resistance system and handlebars provides a very realistic rowing motion. It is definitely different than a simple handlebar attached with a pull cord. The 1333 Precision Rower is more like a boat and will take a little more coordination to pull at the same time and with the same force on both arms. We feel like this design also provides a better upper body workout. It may just be that this motion requires a little more focus, but it definitely provides an intense workout. The seat also slides really nicely on the aluminum rail and the backrest provides extra comfort for an enjoyable experience.

Other Considerations:Stamina-Rowing-Machine-1333-Precision

Like most rowing machines in this price range, the biggest drawback of the Stamina 1333 Precision Rower is its computer console. The console is very basic. It provides you with the standard readouts while exercising; time, distance, stroke count, strokes per minute and calories burned. That’s the end of the story. You don’t get anything else. If you’re looking for a rowing machine in this price range that will provide you with programmed workouts on the console, you’re going to have few options. More than likely your best bet will be the XTERRA ERG400 Rower. Be sure to check out our review for this rowing machine.

Final Word on the Stamina 1333 Precision Rower:Stamina-1333-Precision-Rower

At this price range, the Stamina 1333 Precision Rowing Machine is a good choice, depending on what you’re looking for. The advantage of this rowing machine is the realistic rowing motion that you get with the shock and dual handlebar system. We feel it simulate the rowing experience more accurately. However, some people don’t like shock systems thinking that they slowly will lose their resistance or the dual handlebar system because they feel it’s impossible to get equal resistance on both sides. Whatever you prefer, there are tons of rowing machine options in this price range. The Stamina 1333 Precision Rower is a good option in this group.
