Air Rower Overview:
Stamina’s engineers have designed the X Air Rower to be tough and durable. The steel frame will hold strong during your hardest of workouts. The row machine’s chain keeps the air resistance coming as fast as the fan spins inside the metal housing, automatically adjusting the resistance to your intensity. The molded seat allows you to push your workouts longer and longer while not being limited by sitting on an uncomfortable seat. You’ll know you’re making progress with the real time feedback from the multi-function monitor that measures distance, calories burned, speed, time, strokes and strokes per minute.
When you’re done exercising, the Stamina X Air rowing machine can be easily folded and rolled away into a corner or closet. With the Stamina X Air Rower you don’t need a pricy gym membership or a dedicated home gym for a great workout. This row machine will give you everything that you need for an intense, full-body workout.

What We Love About the Stamina X Air Rower:
Resistance
There are many types of resistance systems on rowing machines; hydraulic, air, water, magnetic, etc. The Stamina X Air Rower utilizes air resistance. Air is one of the more realistic resistance systems. It is said to resemble actual outdoor rowing. The harder that you row on the X Air Rower, the harder the resistance becomes. This allows you to workout at whatever resistance level you want. It also provides you many more options than a hydraulic or magnetic system that gives you a fixed number of resistance settings. With the Stamina X Air Rower you’ll be able to sustain an effective fat burning resistance or high-level cardio intensity.
Warranty
Stamina is a well known manufacturer of fitness equipment. They make quality machines that are priced well, and on the same note, they also provide good warranties on their equipment. The X Air Rower warranty covers the frame for three years and other defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, service assembly and operation for 90 days. For most competitors in this price range, you’ll be lucky to find a warranty greater than a year, if that. For us, it makes us feel like Stamina knows they have built a quality product and they’re willing to stand behind it.
What Isn’t So Great:
Console
Like almost ever rowing machine in this price range, the biggest drawback of the Stamina X Air Rower is the computer console. The console that Stamina provides will measure speed, time, distance, strokes and calories burned while you’re exercising, and the extent of its features. There are no workout programs and there’s no ability to download data or measure your performance from workout to workout. Again this is common for most rowing machines in this price range with the exception of the XTERRA ERG400 Rower. You can read our review of this rower if that interests you.
Final Word on the Stamina X Air Rower:
The Stamina X Air Rower is a really good rowing machine and worth it’s price tag. There are a lot of rowing machine options in this price range and even choices within the Stamina brand. Along with the X Air Rower, Stamina also offers the 1402 ATS Air Rower for about the same price and also the 1333 Precision Rowing Machine for slightly less money. They are all well built machines with great warranties. In addition to this, we really love the air resistance system on the Stamina X Air Rower; we just wish it had a computer console with a few advanced features.
