The thing that we really don’t like about the Ultra Tension Magnetic Pro Rower is its warranty. It’s disappointing that Sunny Health & Fitness will only back their product with a 90 day limited warranty. This is quite concerning and makes us wonder how much confidence they have in this rowing machine. There’s no doubt that the Ultra Tension Magnetic Pro Rower is well made with its steel and aluminum frame. It has the feel of a much more expensive commercial rowing machine. Even so, looks and feel can’t guarantee the construction the way that a warranty will.
Console
The console on the Sunny Health & Fitness Ultra Tension Magnetic Pro Rower is very basic. You get six functions that measure your performance while exercising. There are no workout programs on the console and there is no ability to track your workout statistics to monitor your improvement. While this is common for rowing machines in this price range, if you do your research you can find machines with some of these options. This machine comes with a console equipped with eight intense programs that simulate hills, valleys, mountains and other intense workouts.

There are a few drawbacks to this machine including the standard console and the fact that it does not fold up for easy storage. However, the main drawback of this rowing machine is its warranty, which is only 90 days.
