While this may be good for a beginner, with a few months of training, even a beginner may be beyond this. Additionally, the running surface is kind of small at 16”x47”. You’ll really need to restrict your running stride on a belt this small, especially if you’re approaching 6’ tall. The treadmill is good for walking and jogging, but if you want to run, you’ll probably need an upgrade.
Console
The console is pretty basic on this TXI Heavy Duty Motorized Electric Folding Treadmill. It has a few programmed workouts that will change the speed and intensity for you and make it easy to get an intense workout, but that’s pretty much it. While this may be typical for treadmills in this price range, with a little research you can find some with a lot better features.
