Shipping and AssemblyHorizon Fitness Elite T7 Indoor Treadmill

Free shipping should always be the goal whenever you buy a bigger ticket item. There are plenty of sellers of the Horizon Fitness Elite T7 treadmill which should give you at least one free shipping option. If not, research other options to bring the cost of shipping down as much as possible.

Assembly has been described as quite the challenge, especially if you are trying to do it yourself. Even with two people there are parts of this treadmill that just do not seem to want to come together correctly.

What We Love About the Horizon Fitness Elite T7 Treadmill

The Gadgets

From the extra wide monitor to the Passport media player and the ViaFit connectivity, this treadmill lets us do more and share more without needing extra steps and without having to buy or download extra things. Passport lets us take our imagination for a run while ViaFit lets us show our friends what we have been up to.

The blue backlighting on the monitor allows us read our information without straining, which is another added benefit.

The Belt

The fact that this is an adequately sized, maintenance-free belt is super positive. We love that we don’t have to try to squirt oil or lubricant on the rollers. We also love that we do not have to shorten our running stride to accommodate a belt that is too short.

All of the Programs

There are few treadmills in this price range that have more than 10 workout programs. The Horizon Fitness Elite T7 has 42 different programs including custom programs and others that help you work on different goals from calorie burning, to increasing the number of steps that you take and more. It’s ahrd to get bored if you do something different every time.

What Isn’t so GreatHorizon Fitness Elite T7 Treadmill Indoor

The Safety Key May Fail at Safety

The whole point of a safety key is to prevent accidents. Since the key has been reported to sometimes slip out of place, it may not manage to do that. A key that falls out during operation could cause a trainee to fall or worse, and could cause serious injury.

Assembly Could Be Easier

There is the option in some cases to pay extra to have someone come and assemble your treadmill for you. However, most people want to avoid that extra expense if they can. There are ways to make assembling this treadmill easier, including making sure that all bolt holes actually line up and that they are all drilled correctly. Clearer instructions and better diagrams would help as well.

How the Horizon Fitness Elite T7 Treadmill Compares to the Horizon Fitness Elite T-5 Treadmill

Both fall in the mid-range, price wise. Both have similarly sized belts and motors, and both have the same solid warranty. The T7 has a better monitor and the ViaFit connection while the T5 does not. Since they are so close in price, it only makes sense to go for the one with the better monitor and other incredible options.

Final Word on the Horizon Fitness Elite T7 Treadmill

We truly enjoy the Passport Media player and the ability to virtually run in some of the most beautiful spots in the world. We also enjoy the many programs that this treadmill has to offer and have sampled as many as possible. They are all challenging and can really keep you on track to meeting your fitness goals. This is a solid treadmill at a decent price and one that you will be thrilled to run on as much as possible.
