I J Fitness Treadmill Overview:
The I J Fitness Treadmill is your basic manual treadmill. There are no bells and whistles on this treadmill; just a manual treadmill for a reasonable price. This treadmill has a 13.5”x 39” belt that utilizes a flywheel under your own walking pace. This belt is plenty big enough for walking, but it’s not designed for running. If you choose to run, you’ll probably need to restrict your running stride on the short belt size. The I J Fitness Treadmill provides a console to measure your speed, distance and time while exercising. If you’re looking for anything beyond that, you’ll need to upgrade your buying choice. This treadmill also has a fixed walking incline that is probably somewhere between 5 and 10%. There’s no ability to change this incline to increase or decrease your walking intensity. The I J Fitness Treadmill is worth its price tag, but it is definitely very basic.

What We Love About the I J Fitness Treadmill:
Price
The I J Fitness Treadmill has one thing going for it; its price. For right around $100, you’re getting a good manual treadmill. It has a fixed incline so you’ll be getting an intense uphill workout. You’ll have your heart rate elevated after just a few minutes of walking. When you’re done exercising, the I J Fitness Treadmill folds up nicely so you can get it out of the way and free up valuable floor space. This is everything you’ll need to start getting a little more fit and at a very good price.
What Isn’t So Great:
No Extras
This treadmill is bare bones. There isn’t a single feature on this treadmill that we would consider an extra. The monitor is simple; time, distance and speed. There’s no calories counting feature and definitely no pulse readings. You may think that option is lost in an entry-level manual treadmill, but you’d be wrong. Check out our reviews of the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-T1408M Manual Walking Treadmill or the Exerpeutic 250 Manual Treadmill. This treadmill also has no incline adjustments. Again you may think this is not an option in this price range, but check out the previously mentioned treadmills and the Weslo CardioStride 3.0 Treadmill. Even for a budget-friendly treadmill, it would have been nice for I J Fitness to provide something extra to keep you motivated while exercising.
Final Word on the I J Fitness Treadmill:
There are a lot of options out there for entry-level, budget-friendly treadmills. The I J Fitness Treadmill is another one of those good choices. It will get the job done. It has exactly what you’ll need to get your heart rate up and to start burning calories. Unfortunately, that’s all it’s got. I J Fitness doesn’t provide any extra or bells and whistles on this treadmill. While you might not expect to have a lot of options on an entry-level treadmill, with some research, you’ll be surprised at what you can find.
