What We Love About the 98510 Easy-Up Manual Treadmill:
What we like best about the Phoenix 98510 Easy-Up Manual Treadmill is the price. It’s hard to point out great features on entry-level treadmills, but this one has everything you need to start living healthy. It has a good flywheel that will maintain a smooth walking surface throughout your workout. The belt also has a fixed 12.5% incline to increase intensity and help you burn calories. It also has a good little computer to track your workout performance and a water bottle and holder so that you can be hydrated throughout your workout. Finally, when you’re done exercising, you can fold the treadmill up and store it out of the way. You can’t ask for much more at this price.
What Isn’t So Great:
The Phoenix 98510 Easy-Up Manual Treadmill provides a 12.5% incline that cannot be adjusted. On one side this is good, because it is increasing the intensity of your walk and helping you to burn more calories. On the other hand, it would be nice to be able to adjust the intensity of your workout for days that you want to exercise but just don’t want it to be so intense. If this sounds good to you, there are other treadmills in this price range that will provide this option for you like the ProGear 190 Space Saver Manual Treadmill, which we have also reviewed on this site.
Final Word on the Phoenix 98510 Easy-Up Manual Treadmill:
The Phoenix 98510 Easy-Up Manual Treadmill can be found in the mid-$100 range typically. It’s very basic, but it’s what you’re going to find in this price range. Our only complaint is that the incline is fixed and cannot be adjusted. If you look carefully, you can find treadmills in this price range with adjustable inclines. If you’re having trouble find one, check out our review of the ProGear 190 Space Saver Manual Treadmill.
