This Treadmill is Not for Running
As the name suggests, this treadmill is not for running. The ProGear 350 Power Walking Electric Treadmill is built for walking and maybe some light jogging. The belt surface is only 16”x42” which makes running nearly impossible. If you’re going to try to run on this surface, your stride is going to be severely compact. You’re not going to be able to run with your full stride. The other thing that makes running impossible is that the top speed is only 6 mph. While 6 mph can be a running speed for some, it is definitely on the lower end of the scale. With a few months of training, even a sporadic runner can surpass 6 mph.
